St. Cecilia Preschool Mission:

Saint Cecilia Preschhol is an early childhood education program for children 3 to 5 years old. The preschool uses a thematic-based curriculum in which develpmentally appropriate themes are integrated through all subject areas. The learning themes incorporate Biblical stories as well as pre-reading, math, science, and social concepts. Foundations are laid in the Catholic faith as children experience a positive and loving learning environment. We welcome the support and participation of parents, as they are a child’s first and best teachers.

The Three-Year-Old curriculum focuses on:

• Developing social skills
• Christian concepts, Bible stories, and prayer
• Hands-on learning, creativity, and self-expression
• Teacher directed large and small groups

The Four/Five-Year-Old curriculum builds on the above, plus:

• Kindergarten readiness skills
• Early pre-reading, math, & science concepts
• Developing fine motor skills
• Library and P.E. classes

The Afternoon Preschool curriculum builds on the above plus:

• One additional class each week for further educational opportunities
