Food at First
Saint Cecilia volunteers provide free hot meals to Story County residents in need at First United Methodist Church in downtown Ames every Tuesday night from 5 to 7:00 p.m.  Volunteers cook, serve and clean up.

The Saint Cecilia effort is part of the larger Food at First activity, in which several church groups and other community organizations provide meals to the needy on Sunday through Friday nights, and Saturday midday, no matter what the weather! (5:30 – 6:15 on weekdays, 11:30 – 12:15 Saturdays).   In a trial, BREAKFAST is also served each Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:15 AM.

The Saint Cecilia Social Justice Committee contributes to the Food at First effort and encourages parishioners to involve themselves in the work.
