Purpose & Responsibilities/Activities

The Parish Life Committee’s purpose is to foster community among parishioners through parish events.  Functions of the committee include:

  • Welcoming and hospitality activities
  • Parish publicity and communication
  • Ministry to elderly and shut-ins
  • Promotion of parishioner involvement in apostolates of the parish
  • “Special events” planning such as picnics, dances, and potluck suppers.

Parish Breakfasts

Parish breakfasts are normally held the first Sunday of each month.  Times are announced in the bulletin.  Breakfasts are served in the Social Hall adjoining the church to bring parishioners together and to welcome newly registered parishioners.  A small donation or charge is requested.
